Summary:

J.R. Harris & Company (JRH) was engaged for the structural engineering of this renovation of the existing building, which was performed in multiple phases for the client. These phases included the removal of two existing columns and installation of a new steel truss to support the roof in their absence, as well as modification of the surrounding structural elements to accommodate the revised load path. In addition, new stadium-style seating, walkways, a mezzanine, and stairs were designed to enhance functionality and improve circulation within the sanctuary space. JRH also performed the construction administration services for this project.
