Summary:

The Longmont Civic Center Complex, which includes the Mayor’s Office, has a superstructure supported on a podium slab over a parking garage. The podium slab, a concrete slab and beam system, required extensive structural repairs, including external post-tensioned reinforcement, carbon fiber fabric reinforcement, and additional mild reinforcement. Repairs focused on strengthening the existing podium and garage structure to achieve a 50-year lifespan with routine maintenance.
