Summary:
The Tivoli Complex, a 350,000-square-foot historic landmark in Denver, was rehabilitated to serve as a student union for multiple colleges. The project included mechanical and electrical upgrades, exterior restoration, and code compliance improvements, all designed to minimize tenant disruption. Engineering services included structural inspections, reinforcement of the existing structure for mechanical upgrades and design of extensive penetrations through concrete, steel, stone, and brick walls and floors. JRH also designed access ladders and walkways for roofs, and provided construction phase support to ensure a seamless revitalization.
